Les tombes de cette \u00e9poque d\u00e9couvertes \u00e0 Chamblandes, un quartier de Pully, sont constitu\u00e9es d\u2019un coffre form\u00e9 de quatre dalles de pierre avec une cinqui\u00e8me servant de couvercle. Elles sont pour la plupart orient\u00e9es est-ouest. \u00c0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur des s\u00e9pultures, les d\u00e9funts \u00e9taient plac\u00e9s en position recroquevill\u00e9e sur le c\u00f4t\u00e9 gauche. Les coffres pouvaient accueillir un ou plusieurs d\u00e9funts. Ce type de tombe en ciste appara\u00eet vers 4500 av. J.-C. Le site a donn\u00e9 son nom \u00e0 ce type de tombe, \u00e0 savoir : les \u00ab tombes en ciste de type Chamblandes \u00bb.<\/p>\n
